Candada's Guy Laliberté was this weekend named 2007 Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur of the Year in close competition with Ståle Kyllingstad and many more entrepreneurs from every corner of the world. The winner was announced at the climax of a glittering ceremony in Monaco on 2 June.
Guy Laliberté is the founder and CEO of Cirque du Soleil, a world known entertainment group whos employees and artists represent more than 40 nationalities. The world winner was announced by an eight-member panel of independent judges.

"Representing Norway in Monaco was great fun, and I got to know interesting and engaged people from all over the world", Ståle Kyllingstad explains on the arrival in Stavanger. He emphasises the value of networking and having gotten to know people who in the future may open doors to new business markets all over the world.
