With a total duration of 5 years and 2 x 2 years option, this is the largest contract ever won by IKM Testing. This in both duration and value. First of all we see this as a very positive recognition from Statoil of the work we have carried out on the current agreement established in 1999.
The sites for the contract is Sleipner, Draupner, Kårstø, Åsgard, Heidrun, Kristin and Norne. The main service included in the contract is nitrogen testing and purging. The agreement also includes our other services, primarily in connection with shutdowns. Initialisation is on October 1 2006 and the agreement has a total duration of 9 years. Until 2011 and 2 x 2 option.
We will benefit from our recent heavy investments in equipment and make way for more investments and new employments. We are looking forward to continue the close co-operation with Statoil within our traditional and new services.
