New order from Seadrill
IKM Elektro AS has received an order from Seadrill for three BOP Control Units (BCU), and also one service/training BCU.
The three BCUs are in addition to the seven units already delivered. IKM Laboratorium AS has earlier delivered twelve similar units and this new order will generate a great deal of work for both IKM Mekaniske Stavanger AS at Nærbø and IKM Larsen & Mortensen AS.
The BCU system is developed by IKM Elektro AS with substantial support from IKM Mekaniske Stavanger AS (Nærbø). The system is considered to be one of the most advanced on the market today.
