The project is an EPC project where IKM Ocean Design have worked since March 2016. The Johan Sverdrup Hot Tap operation subsea is planned summer 2018.

The Engineering has been challenging both with respect to mechanical/hydraulic design and advanced analyses to confirm the design both for Retrofit Hot Tap Tee, Hot Tap Ball Valve assembly and Gooseneck spool delivery. The experience has taken IKM Ocean Design up to a high level for both  Engineering, Procurement og Construction. The good cooperation with IKM Maskinering as main fabricator has been a key element for the successful end products . On the IKM team IKM Hydraulic Services and IKM Technology has contributed, together with several other good sub-suppliers.

Project Manager from IKM Ocean Design Helge Nesse want to say thanks to all that contributed to the successful EPC project delivery!
