Welding Inspection

Sveiseinspektører

Welding inspection (IWI) by certified inspector ensures quality, compliance, and independent control of welding work.

Welding Inspection (IWI) ensures that welding work is carried out in accordance with applicable standards, specifications, and contractual requirements, contributing to quality, safety, and traceability throughout the project.

We offer welding inspection performed by a certified welding inspector in accordance with NS 477 / IWI, and assist with inspection and quality follow-up as an independent third party. Such third-party control is often a requirement in product standards and customer specifications.

The purpose of welding inspection is to ensure product quality and verify that the welding work has been performed in compliance with applicable requirements. The inspection can be carried out as pre-, during-, and post-weld inspection, depending on the project's scope and complexity, and can be combined with relevant NDT methods.
