Our standard range of motors have a field-proven design that enables the use of electrical motors in new submerged assemblies. They are typically used in applications for the oil and gas market, renewable energy, aquaculture, and for deep-sea mining. 

Special challenges require special motors and we therefore customize motors to fit exact specifications for a wide range of applications. These include minimization of size and weight, downhole motors, permanent magnet motors, generators, and special certifications like API and ATEX / IECex. 

We offer complete drivelines for our motors that ensure their high performance and reliability in the long run, and perform inspections and services for all types of electrical motors. We collaborate closely with service companies and understand the unique challenges of robust subsea solutions.

The company is fully owned by the IKM group, a complete service company for the energy business with 2300 employees. We continue a successful legacy of subsea motors and have supplied more than 1100 motors over the last 20 years.
