General Manager - PT IKM Indonesia (Jakarta/Batam)

We are inviting candidates who possess relevant education background, experience, competency, commitment and integrity to join our management position of General Manager

As a committed professional with relevant managerial experience gained within the Oil & Gas and natural resources industry, you will have highly developed managerial and communication skills plus the personal attributes to fulfil the requirements of the role.

  • To oversee, and to be responsible for, all functions including Operations, Sales, Procurement & Logistics, HSE, Finance, Human Resource and report to Management Team and Board of Directors
  • To ensure that the organization structure of the whole organization is designed to achieve the priorities and objectives in line with Management Team and Board of Directors
  • To be responsible for policy implementation, business strategy/plans and ensure the company’s regulations are compatible with the company’s objectives and strategies appropriate to the overall business targets, and to meet and exceed such agreed targets.
  • To review financial, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement, and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
  • Evaluating and analyzing the results of the implementation of business strategy of the company and seek proposals for solving problems that arise
  • Be responsible for continual improvement in all areas of the business.
  • Ensure internal quality audits are carried out on each department and the resulting corrective actions are implemented
  • Co-ordinate activities with all other Company business units to the best advantage of the Company.
  • Ensure conformance of all products and services to quality requirements and technical specifications.
  • Review and investigate customer complaints and take necessary action where applicable.
  • Ensure that departments comply with the local government regulations. 
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry or related field with a relevant Engineering / Management qualification
  • Minimum 10 years of strong working experience in related field with min 5 years management experience.
  • Have strong knowledge of PTK007 (Rev 4) and tendering process in Indonesia
  • Exposure to both Indonesian and international companies and projects preferred
  • Able to demonstrate true leadership abilities, lead teams as well as be able to work independently
  • Demonstrated expertise in oil and gas offtake sales arrangements and related agreements
  • High degree of computer literacy
  • Fluent in English both in verbal and written

  • Good management skill, leadership skill and interpersonal skill
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity
  • Excellent communicator – both written and spoken English & Bahasa
  • Organized with good planning skills
  • Team oriented – share information and ideas openly plus supportive of other team members
