Vibration Measurements

Our vibration measurement services include:

Sensor and Sensor Loop Verification

Vibration sensors and associated measurement loops may occasionally provide inaccurate readings due to sensor degradation, wiring faults, or other system issues.

IKM Instrutek can verify both individual sensors and complete sensor loops, either by testing equipment sent to our facility or by performing on-site inspections.

The verification process evaluates sensor performance and identifies irregularities or values outside the specified operating range according to the manufacturer's datasheets.

Please note that this service is not a calibration service. Verification is performed using methods such as bias checks and shaker testing to assess the condition and functionality of the sensor and measurement chain.

Professional Equipment and Expertise

To perform our services, we utilize advanced handheld instruments from Acoem for vibration measurements, balancing, and laser alignment. Ultrasonic measurements are carried out using equipment from Fluke, while sensor and loop verification is performed using specialized instruments from manufacturers such as Hansford and MTI.
