The ECITB MJI programme is designed to improve safety, reduce the risk of hydrocarbon and process leaks, and ensure that mechanical joints are assembled and maintained in accordance with industry best practices. The training combines theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on exercises covering flange types and components, gasket selection, bolt tightening methods, controlled bolting techniques, joint assembly procedures, leak prevention, and safe working practices for pressurised systems.
