    Zerust®/Excor® Axxatec™ 8110C is an easy-to-use corrosion inhibiting aqueous-based additive for the protection of enclosed systems. Use to protect the water-filled void spaces of hydraulic and coolant equipment such as heat exchangers, industrial plate-chillers, and fire sprinkler systems for up to one year.

Technical Data

  • Function:

    Zerust® Axxatec™ 8110C protects interior surfaces and parts comprised of iron, steel, aluminum, copper and brass within closed systems. Axxatec 8110C is water-based and easily diluted in glycolic coolants or waterbased fluids. Use Zerust® Axxatec™ 8110C to prevent corrosion in closed systems for up to one year.

    In addition, Axxatec™ 8110C will provide a few hours of corrosion protection when used as a coating or final rinse for parts that will be enclosed in Zerust®/Excor® VCI Packaging Film. Axxatec™ 8110C helps prevent flash rust in-between production processes, but is not recommended as a long-term or stand-alone external corrosion protection

  • Product Information:
    Zerust®/Excor® Axxatec™ 8110C is a water-based additive.
  • Application:

    - Appearance: Light-yellow liquid

    - Removability: Flush with deionized water

    - pH Approx. 6.8 - 7.8

    - Dilution: 1 part Axxatec 8110C to 10 parts water. Pre-blend before adding to the system or may be added directly to the system.

  • Protection Properties:
    - Closed system: Up to 1 year - Metal types: Ferrous, aluminum, copper and brass
  • Storage:
    Store in a cool (50 to 90°F / 10 to 32°C), dry place and away from sunlight in original packaging for up to 2 years from the date of shipment. Disposal: Dispose of in accordance with local, national and international regulations.
