IWCF Instructor / Business Development Lead - IKM Testing UK (Aberdeen)

To design, develop and execute strategies for growing the external IWCF training business.

Overall Purpose of the Job
Act as a focal point for IWCF external training supply opportunities within the IKM Testing UK and ensure all current and potential client needs are addressed. Responsible for the completion of design and creation of training materials related to all IWCF training course activities. To provide full assistance to the Training and Competence Manager in the design and delivery of IWCF courses.

Roles and responsibilities

Business Development
•  To review the IWCF training market and determine business opportunities, develop IKM IWCF training
    courses with the Training and Competency Manager to meet market demand.
•  Work with the Commercial Manager in developing marketing strategies for the promotion of
    IKM as a training provider.
•  Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed
    business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
•  Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an 
   agreed market development strategy.
•  Advise on IWCF pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
•  Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods,
    and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
•  Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
•  Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and
    information to senior management.
•  Record, analyse and report according to systems and requirements.
•  Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to
    facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
•  Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary
    to perform duties and aid IWCF business development.
•  With the BD Manager, WS Manager and Head of Operations, determine targeted clients and strategies to win.
•  Ensure and maintain excellent communications with clients.
•  Work with the Personnel Logistics department to ensure the efficient and timely planning of all courses.
•  Determine pricing strategy with BD and Operational management personnel.
•  Give presentations and attend meetings to promote IKM.
•  Adhere to Company’s policies and procedures.
•  Travel to other IKM locations along with client locations.

•  To assist the Training and Competency Manager in the development of the IKM IWCF training courses.

Job Description

•  To run IWCF training courses as per the IKM training timetable.
•  To assist in the organisation of IWCF training courses including venues, procurement and
    execution as per IKM training procedure.

Personal Skills
•  Strong personal leadership.
•  Must have previous experience working in the Well Services discipline.
•  Must been an approved IWCF Training Course Instructor.
•  Willing to complete offshore visits, if necessary.
•  Must have strong communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence others.
