Soon after starting with IKM Testing in Brazil, Carlos travelled to Aberdeen to visit the International Division of IKM Testing for a week, going through an extended induction to the company’s already accredited QHSE business management system. Nine months later, IKM Testing Brazil were delighted to announce the great news of receiving ISO 9001 certification for the first time in its history, through NCC (a Bureau Veritas company).
Achieving this milestone means that IKM Testing Brazil now meet Petrobras’s requirement to be ISO accredited. This allows them to bid and secure work from the national oil company in Brazil, who also happen to be the biggest oil company by far in the country. The achievement is testimony to the company’s continuing investment in growth, good collective work ethic, and commitment to quality and industry best practice
