The award is presented to organizations that excel in innovation, and IKM Testing UK was recognized for the development of its Methane Emissions Quantification (MEQ) service – with particular emphasis on the Source Level Identification and Quantification (SLIQ) method. The solution was developed through the company’s internal innovation programme and demonstrates how employee‑driven innovation can help address key challenges in the energy industry.

Innovation is a core part of the culture at IKM Testing UK. All employees are encouraged to contribute ideas, and to date more than 360 ideas have been submitted – several of which have been further developed into tangible improvements to services and internal processes.
