The oil and gas industry has strong focus on HSE and wishes to reduce falling objects as well as exposure time in connection with equipment coupling associated with well interventions. IKM ClikLoc™ gives the operator fast and secure coupling of high pressure links.

The IKM ClikLoc™ connector has been designed to reduce coupling time and increase safety when used in challenging environments. The coupling time can be reduced by up to 80% compared to today's technology. The connector is designed with safety in mind and therefore has no loose parts. Closing and opening do not require the use of advanced tools either. When used, it eliminates the risk of falling objects 100%.

IKM ClikLoc™ is designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 13628-7, API 6A and DNV C101 for Completion and Workover Riser System. This is a bayonet, self-centring connector. This means that the connector does not have to be manually re-centred, which eliminates the need to rotate any other connected equipment during coupling. When parts are coupled, the sleeve will be possible to rotate 45° to achieve full coupling.

IKM ClikLoc™ comes with dynamic seal design that requires only slight pre-tensioning – the weight of WL/CT BOP or risers will be sufficient – and once it is possible to rotate the sleeve, this means that the coupling is properly closed and ready for operation.
