Communications Advisor


* Is able to utilise modern communication methods (including digital channels, video, podcasts, enterprise social media and creativity) to effectively engage the company business.
* Advises on all internal company-wide communications to help decide what should be communicated, when and how.
* Develops high impact employee engagement programmes that build our reputation as an employer of choice.
* Produce written content for internal and external communication channels.
* Produce other communication material: messaging documents, presentations, brochures etc.
* Day-to-day communication support to business partners across the company.
* Organising internal and external events.
* Emergency Response: Take part in company's crisis communication team.
* Administrative support.
Internal and External interfaces:
* Internal : Any internal services and functions at company and corporate level.
* External : Suppliers, stakeholders and media.

Required expertise

* Relevant higher university degree.
* Experience from working in journalism, PR and/or corporate communication.
* Solid knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred.
* Proficiency in internal and external communication methods.
* Good journalistic writing skills.
* Knowledge in Content Management Systems (CMS), and photo and video editing tools.
* Very good level of written and spoken Norwegian and English..
* Track record of success in managing significant internal communications projects.
* Aware of the trends and best practice in the market-place and experience of innovation especially in new technologies relating to communications.
