Planner Mechanical


We are looking for a person with experience within planning and follow up of facility maintenance work related to the operation of offshore facilities


* Assist in establishing weekly maintenance plans
* Identify parts and services needed for the execution of the jobs generated in SAP
* Order parts and services for planned jobs
* Participate in planning meetings with Maintenance & Logistics department and with offshore installations
* Act as a resource person for the maintenance (SAP) planning system and assist offshore as required
* Review spare parts and make recommendation for cataloguing and link material to BOM
* Assist with shut down planning and scheduling
* Provide input to the Field Work Team including problem-solving, update of drawing etc.
* Establish close cooperation with the offshore facilities to understand short and long term priorities, both with regards to operations, maintenance activities, need for spares and external services etc.
* Ensure safe work, demonstrate safety mindset and contribute actively to achieve an excellent operation
* Adhere to Company Management system and procedures and contribute to their review and improvement

Required expertise

* BSc in mechanical engineering. Lack of education can be compensated by long experience
* Minimum 10 years’ experience from maintenance disciplines with minimum 5 years’ experience from offshore installation
* Experienced with maintenance system (SAP) and necessary office tools
* Norwegian rules and regulation
* Maintenance System Manual
* Offshore maintenance procedures
* Necessary technical and HSSEQ competencies

Languages: Excellent communication skills, both orally and written (English, Norwegian is an advantage)
Location: Onshore Forus, Travel offshore to assess work when required
