IKM testing Aberdeen are looking for a Certfication Assistant to join our Certification Team on a full time permanent basis.

Overall Purpose of the Job

Responsible for handling administrative tasks and providing support within the Certification Team. To carry out QC and verification checks on pressure tests, calibration certificates and a whole range of certification-related documentation. To work under direction of the Certification Coordinators to ensure prioritised tasks are completed on a timely manner and accurately. Shall be involved with uploading and maintaining of certification and amending of our database within the AX system. A large part of the job shall be ensuring our records are kept up to date but also working on the operational side, assisting with creating certification packages for each mobilisation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Attending daily mobilisation meetings as required (under direction of colleagues) and participating where possible.
  • Attending daily Workshop-Certification team meetings as required (under direction of colleagues) and participating where possible.
  • Carry out QC checks of on-site pressure tests and saving into our systems.
  • Reviewing and flagging any discrepancies within the chart register.
  • Ensuring our registers are up to date (hose register in particular).
  • Providing cover for Certification Coordinator(s) as required.
  • Liaising with Supplychain and Workshop on third party certification.
  • Liaising with Workshop Depts (mainly mobilisation or maintenance team) on IKM equipment certification.
  • Uploading of certification into AX system and maintaining database.
  • Car ry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with all compa ny policies, protocols, procedures, risk assessments and system s (including emergency and incide n t routines)
  • Liaise with Project Leads on mobilisation dates any customer specific requirements, updating all relevant parties accordingly.
  • Liaise with Operations on certification matters and act as the Certification Focal Point.
  • Shadow colleagues within the team.
  • Raise improvement ideas to colleagues and line management.
  • Produce step-by-step guides for certain tasks within the team and operation of the AX certification module.
  • Handle all administrative tasks and regular review of the team mailbox.
  • Be proactive and organised. Highlighting any potential issues or high importance tasks/matters to Certification Coordinator(s).
  • Work under direction of Certification Coordinator(s) to generate any asset numbers for new or unnumbered equipment/hoses/instrumentation and update registers accordingly.

Qualifications Required (Technicial, Professional, Academic)

Essential:

  • High level of Computer literacy - Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills
  • Good quality focus

Preferred:

  • Competence in using AX / SAP systems.
  • Any technical courses in Certification or in CE, ATEX, UKAS.
