Due to the continued success of our digital learning division and growing demand for our services internationally, IKM Testing in Aberdeen is looking for a creative and motivated junior eLearning designer to join our highly innovative and dynamic design team. As a junior eLearning designer, you will play a key role in developing modern and engaging digital learning content for our global organisation and external clients. This role will involve closely collaborating with our in-house digital learning and 3D visualisation experts to produce industry-leading online training solutions. Roles and Responsibilities

Content Development

• Work closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts to understand learning objectives and content requirements.
• Support with the design and development of instructional material, presentations, eLearning modules, courses, and multimedia content using authoring tools and graphic design software.
• Assist in the creation of interactive and engaging learning activities that enhance the overall learning experience.

Multimedia Production

• Develop multimedia elements such as graphics, animations, audio, and video to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of eLearning content.
• Edit and enhance existing multimedia materials to align with instructional goals.

Quality Assurance

• Review and test learning materials for accuracy, functionality, and adherence to design standards.
• Implement feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve the quality of eLearning materials.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, subject matter experts, and project managers, to achieve project goals and deadlines.

Professional Development

• Seek opportunities for professional development to enhance skills in eLearning design.

General Responsibilities

• Adhere to company’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications Required (Technical, Professional, Academic)

Preferred

• HNC/HND in instructional design, eLearning development, graphic design, or a related field or 1 years’ experience in a similar role.

Experience Required

Essential

• Keen interest in digital learning and multimedia design.
• Experience using graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

Preferred

• Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
• Basic knowledge of coding languages or web design.

Personal Skills

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
