We are looking for a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer to join our Pipeline Operations team. Primarily based in our office at Westhill, Aberdeen. This is a full-time staff position, with a particular interest shown to applicants with experience in pre-commissioning, decommissioning and IRM type work.

To be considered for this position, you will have relevant experience in a similar role, be willing to travel offshore/ internationally as and when required to deliver on operational requirements, possess a can-do attitude, have a high attention to detail and demonstrate a firm commitment to delivering and maintaining a high level of client service. You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and be able to commute daily to Westhill.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare project documentation and reports.
  • Assist with preparation of tenders including preparation of method statements, equipment lists and pricing schedules.
  • Act as project focal point for both the customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinate and monitor job performance.
  • Responsible for overseeing daily site operations.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Define all operational requirements contained within the project contract and verify that all actions are performed in accordance with procedures and deadlines.
  • Ensure QA and HSE requirements are met.
  • Attend client visits to provide technical support to Business Development.
  • Oversee general daily functions performed/assigned to subordinates.
  • Provide on-the-job monitoring of tasks and activities.
  • Empower subordinates in achievement of tasks.
  • Plan and monitor progress against deadlines and amendments of work packs / procedures / Management of Change.
  • Encourage and develop team relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality and HSE Management System by ensuring that all operational requirements are performed / completed in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • Ensure daily Tool Box Talks are held onsite with all work teams under their control and that PPE is suitable to meet job requirements.
  • Write reports including inputs to all project related documentation e.g. Project Quality Plans, Project Risk Assessments, Safe Job Analysis and Management Reports.
  • Adhere to Company's policies and procedures.
  • Willing to complete offshore visits and travel where required.

Qualifications Required

Essential:

  • Experience in Pipeline and/or Process Services in a Project Lead Role.

Preferred:

  • Degree

Experience Required

Essential:

  • Must have previous experience working in the Oil and Gas industry within the Pipeline and/or Process Industry.
  • Sound technical knowledge of Pipeline and/or Process operations and equipment used.
  • Experience in budget ownership, profit and loss, and financial reporting.
  • Relevant computer design skills in both 2D and Basic 3D drawing packages.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a mechanical background.
  • Experience within the project environment
