Safety Engineer Automation

Responsibilities

- System design of SAS safety systems (FS, C&E, interface and HMI input) for an offshore wind project
- Participation in fire and gas and ESD safety reviews, verifications and meetings
- Review of vendor technical documentation
- Designing solutions according to our client's requirements
- Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project
- Interface to other disciplines, suppliers, other contractors and client
- Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers
- Participate relevant test activities/FAT/UFAT

Required expertise

- Bachelor degree
- Ex course
- Minimum 8 yearsÂ’ Experience from automation engineering in a green field oil&gas project or wind projects
- Minimum 5 yearsÂ’ Experience from SAS safety systems and HVAC system design activities. Including System Control Diagram development, Cause & Effect development, HMI development and Function Description responsibilities from green field projects
- Experience and deep knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, DNVGL, PTIL and IEC
- Have good communication skills
- Have a cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
- Ability to work independently as well as in team
- Be systematic and accurate
- Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
- Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others

Languages: Fluent Norwegian and English skills - both orally and in writing
