Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

-Create MC and Commissioning Packages and establish procedures.
-Input and follow up on the Completion plan/Method.
-Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at Supplier premises.
-Supply and verify Electronic Job Cards, along with Handover Dossiers.
-Ensure the quality of work through verification activities.
-Check Job Cards and Dossier in PCS (MIPS) and participate in MC punch-out at Site.
-Follow up on Punch lists and walk-downs during MC & Commissioning.
-Verify completed CPCR/CPCL by the operator and participate in the handover to Operation.
-Follow up on Boundary and Single Line Diagram, and mark-up/as-built drawings for further handling by DCC.

Required expertise

-Master or Bachelor's degree; vocational education or relevant work experience may compensate for educational requirements.
-Minimum 4 years of experience as a Commissioning Engineer, totaling 8 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
-Typically onshore with sporadic offshore trips; must have offshore certification.
-Good knowledge and competence in Completion.
-Familiarity with Company Operating system and PEM.
-Experience in Automation and Instrument Completion, collaborating on at least one oil & gas project of similar technical concept and complexity.
-Offshore experience related to the Survey control system.
-Understanding of the project lifecycle.
-Proficient in Microstation with general office data skills.
-Experience with SAS systems and shutdown philosophy.
-Knowledge of block diagrams and SCD signals.
-PID & DID experience.
Languages: Proficient in both written and spoken English and Norwegian or another Scandinavian language.
