Instrument Engineer

Responsibilities

-Provide engineering inputs to job packages.
-Prepare offshore work instructions.
-Create as-builts of drawings and red line mark-ups.
-Report important matters to Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager.
-Ensure quality and HSSE in own projects.
-Identify changes and contribute to change requests.
-Assist in general field instrument engineering, system engineering, automation and control engineering, Fire & Gas systems engineering, layout design, cable dimensioning, calculations, field instrumentation and valves.
-Support technical procurement activities related to mechanical packages, preparation of MTOs and requisitions, and the creation of installation job-cards.
-Collaborate with other disciplines, suppliers, and clients.

Required expertise

-Minimum 2 years' experience in the oil and gas industry.
-Relevant degree (Associate, Vocational, Bachelor's, or Master's).
-Strong knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.
-Experience in supplier coordination and follow-up.
-Proficient in creating as-builts of tags and drawings.
-Effective communication and teamwork.
-Expertise in estimation work and activity planning.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and MicroStation. 
Languages: Fluent in written and oral English.
