Discipline Lead - EIT

Responsibilities

-Lead the discipline team to ensure timely delivery and quality of project deliverables, while managing manpower and competence.
-Coordinate with IT/IS for engineering register, E3D/Navis, and MIPS interfaces, and interface with all relevant disciplines, suppliers, subcontractors, production, and planning departments.
-Maintain and update governing documentation for the discipline in cooperation with department manager, and authorize necessary measures to uphold discipline responsibility.
-Develop and oversee detailed schedules within the discipline, integrating scope of work into project timelines, and delegate tasks as needed.
-Ensure construction and HSE-friendly design principles are implemented in design and work preparation, and report progress according to schedules and HSE policies.
-Contribute to updating corporate/department/discipline documentation based on project experiences, and organize and lead meetings as required.
-Perform additional task if needed.

Required expertise

-Master's or bachelor's degree, with relevant experience compensating for formal education.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, Atex, 3D/2D DAK-systems, and technical registers and planning systems.
-Minimum five years of relevant experience, but junior candidates with 3-5 years of experience may be considered.
-Leadership experience and good general knowledge across other disciplines.
-Offshore certification is required.
Languages: Fluent in both written and oral English.
