Senior Commissioning Engineer-Mechanical/Process-Rotating Equipment

Responsibilities

-The Commissioning System Engineer Mech/Process (incl. Rotating Equipment) shall manage, and control commissioning activities related to mechanical and process systems as compressors, etc.
-Commissioning (System) Engineer is responsible for commissioning preparations and execution within the project for all relevant systems including hand over to Operation/Plant Integrity.
-He/she shall also support other disciplines with interfacing commissioning activities.
-Participate in weekly meetings regarding status, development of strategies, budget, plans/schedules, procedures, routines, ATS requirements, FAT, UFAT, RISK and work processes for commissioning.
-Responsible for follow up writing of the commissioning procedures on dedicated systems.
-Issue and maintain commissioning boundary documentation for efficient construction and commissioning schedules.
-Follow up punch work in the field and punch list documentation ensuring that drawings/documents are updated and identified during commissioning.
-Responsible for handover of the facility to Operation by issuing TAC (technical Acceptance Certificate) and RFOC (Ready for Operation Certificates).
-Close interaction with: Project Support, Engineering, Construction, Operation and Plant Integrity.

Required expertise

-Minimum education Bachelor, Engineering - Mechanical / Process.
-4 years of work experience.
-Experience from oil and gas projects.
-Offshore certificate is required.
-Extensive knowledge of Equinor’s governing documentation.
-Good knowledge of Procosys and Fusion.
-Well-developed teambuilding, co operational- and communication abilities.
-Ability to handle responsibility and periodically high workload.
-Ability to drive activities to be complete on schedule.
-Skill to establish good relations with Contractors.
Languages: Must be fluent in Norwegian (both written and verbal). Good communication skills in English.
