Aker BP awards IKM Testing long-term frame agreemet

Aker BP has awarded IKM Testing a Frame Agreement that includes most of IKM Testing’s core Services.

The duration of the Frame Agreement is 6 years plus an option period, and applies to all Aker BP installations on the Norwegian Continetal Shelf. The Agreement and projects will be managed from IKM Testing’s Head Office at Sola. Projects at Skarv field will be managed from IKM Testings department in Kristiansund.

IKM Testing will have overall/EPC responsibility for nitrogen services, technical cleaning, maintenance and repair of mechanical connections during maintenance shut downs. In addition, the agreement extends to operational support services and Ad-Hoc work between the maintenance shut downs.

The collaboration between IKM Testing and Aker BP will have a strong focus on HSE, new technology, digitalization, new cleaning methods and smarter and more efficient implementation of multidisciplinary operations. It has been facilitated for active use of incentive schemes where both parties will work for increased focus on safety and more efficient execution. IKM Testing has for a long time worked towards a more efficient performance of projects by being best at Multi skilled operations - specialists put into system.
