The agreement that has now been concluded between Kiwa AS and IKM Inspection AS means that all activity and employees related to NDT services with the associated equipment park in Norway are transferred.
For our customers, this means that the NDT services will still be delivered with the same quality as before, but now from IKM Inspection. We are very satisfied with the agreement that has been concluded. In this way, we can contribute to securing the future niche expertise that we see that customers in this segment need, says Karsten Warloe, CEO of Kiwa Norway and adds:
NDT is a relatively small area of our business and this will have no further impact on Kiwa's remaining portfolio. We will continue to deliver the same good TIC services with a further focus on growth.
Managing director of IKM Inspection AS Ivar Djuve, says that they are very satisfied with the agreement that has been concluded with Kiwa.
This gives us access to highly competent and experienced personnel with associated equipment. IKM Inspection is experiencing an ever-increasing demand for NDT services and this acquisition fits well into our growth strategy. For the employees who now join IKM Inspection, we can offer work opportunities at all our locations in the south and east of Norway, the west of Norway, offshore and at the larger manufacturing yards in Norway. Services related to inspection are a focus area for the IKM group, so we expect continued growth in both turnover and the number of employees going forward, says Ivar Djuve.
